Peace for ALL mankind. May ALL live in dignity and with mutual respect for any religious, natural and ideological differences. Viewing from space, war, greed for money and power, corruption, as well as other crime on Earth look so meaningless... just as it is. Remember the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan and other places before when ten thousands lost their valuable life. This is a good reason to cease all hostilities and work hand-in-hand. If we do not learn from history, then history will repeat itself and escalate until we are all down to the lowest level of what some call humanity. We need our Earth in peace, Earth does not need us.

Sky Atlas for Android Phones

Sky Atlas is an astronomical database for Android phones with capability of plotting star charts and centering selected celestial objects.

Sky Atlas is neither finger controllable or zoomable planetarium software, nor is it a game!

The application provides basic knowledge of astronomy and is designed for hobby and amateur astronomers, educational purposes and general reference.

In spite of its rich set of data and images, Sky Atlas is constructed in a simple, intuitive concept. There are two major sections, "Atlas Objects" and "References".

"Atlas Objects" contains several lists of celestial objects that can be centered on a equatorial star chart, while "References" contains a collection of astronomical information and simulations.

Because Sky Atlas provides numerous astronomical images as well as listview icons, it occupies about 10MB working memory, however, owners of Android 2.2 and higher phones may wish to install the application in the memory card.

Please appreciate that this website, too, is work in progress.
